Saturday in Solihull

Well last Friday we headed up to see the Hawkswoods in good old Solihull and on Saturday morning we were treated to a little trip to the park. Here's the video evidence:

Mr Independent @ the Park

We took Tomás to the park close to home and check out how determined he was to cross the bridge on his own.

New bed - New Photos & Video

A couple of weeks ago we bought Tomás a new bed as his cot was getting a bit too small for him. I guess the pics above give you an indication of how he has adapted to the new bed.

I've also added a little video of me playing with him (please excuse the super sweaty shirt as I had literally just arrived after cycling back from work)

2 videos from today - it's the weekend!

Taken today as soon as I got in from work ;-) This is how Tomás relaxes before getting a good nights sleep :-)

The BBQ in the rain.

On the 26th May we organised a B-B-Q at our place. The weather wasn't great to say the least but the gazebo, the shower caps and the food really made it a success! Thanks to Liz & her firelighters :-)

The balls! The balls!

I went to ASDA a couple of weeks ago and I bought 200 plastic balls for Tomás to play with, here's the end result. :-)

2 weeks have gone - Shame on me.....

Sorry for the lack of updates - but we've been somewhat busy in the last 2 weeks. Just a quick summary before the photos are uploaded though. We are now proud to have a french door in place instead of the old window in our room. It looks great and now allows us direct access to the garden and the bbq area. In fact in the very wet bank holiday weekend we had a barbie - no rain stopped us from entertaining and I can say for sure that the door is a great addition to the room.

Other than that we've also been church shopping: We have now attended the Gateway church twice - an Ichthus link church only 10 mins down the road & also New River Church - a City Gates church plant in Islington about 15-20 mins away. This weekend we're gonna try Tower Hamlets Community Church. Photos are coming :-p
